Weekend Update #2

Ok so Im back for the rest of my weekend update, but before I start, let me get this off my chest....I SEE BRITNEY IN 5 HOURS!!!! Alright, now that thats out in the open I will proceed.

We left off with us making it home from Retrievers and going to sleep, well the next morning, like clockwork Jenn wakes up at 8:00 and so by 9:00 we had all made our way to living room where were vegged out on the couch and turned on a movie, (the satellite bit the bucket so we had to improvise), Forrest Gump, one of the best movies for quotes, and we/it did not disappoint!

Well about halfway into the movie, my mom calls to tell me that its starting to snow in Pine Mountain! Snow?? Are you serious, Im missing snow, ugh!! Since its snowing she tells me to be very careful driving home and to leave as soon as I can. Well we were in the middle of Forest Gump and I just couldnt tear my squint eyes away so I stayed on the couch a little while longer. Then my dad calls to tell me to leave NOW, its getting pretty bad and the snow is sticking and to be very careful. Welllll I really didnt want to miss the movie so I reluctantly prepared my mind to leave, but still I didn't move. Well about 20 minutes later, mom calls again...dang it I guess I really better get up. She told me that the snow was really coming down heavy and dad had already gotten into a wreck (no worries he's ok, just busted up his old truck a little) and my sister Brittany and her husband Earle were stuck at church so she would prefer is I stay in Statesboro and come back tomorrow afternoon once the snow had stopped and the ice had melted off the road. So I get to stay with my wonderful friends another night and I dont have to work monday?? No problem-o!! So then I didn't feel so bad for never moving from the couch when they asked me to leave, everything happens for a reason I say :)

Now that I am staying in statesboro we all get up and head to Zaxby's just like old times and had some lunch then me Steph and Jenn made our way back to the house were we got a brilliant beyondi brilliant idea...lets have a totally 80's workout party, complete with hair and make-up!!

Once we got ready, we did a few promo pictures, ya know, just in case we get picked up for a DVD or put into syndication. We popped in the 30 Day Shred and started Level 1, my last day on Level 1 so I was pretty excited! However, the same could not be said for Jenn. About 10 minutes into the workout she felt the exact same I did when I started my very first workout of the DVD, sick, weak and naseous. I promised her it would get better, just push through, and like Jillian says, you'll be shredded in no time!

After working out Jenn went to eat dinner while Steph and I put on another movie, but then we had another brilliant idea...2 in one day?? I know, awesome! Since we had just worked out and felt semi-skinnier, lets put on our swimsuits to watch the movie for motivation, so thats just what we did. Well you can only imagine the look on Jenn's face when she walked in to see us laying on the couch in swimsuits while it is practically snowing outside.

Eventually we got out of our swimsuits and put on some real clothes because it was now time for Mexican and Margaritas at some friends' house! We made our way over and were promptly given Mexican names...Rosario at your service (yes I'm a butch cleaning lady to a wealthy, drunk new york socialite)...got dinner and the blender started. Once we finished dinner we got a very arousing game of Apples to Apples started. During the game, a bet was made about who would win a particular round, and things didn't turn out like one party involved anticipated. Let's just say 3 shots were downed...but they didn't stay down for very long, poor Pablo.

After Apples to Apples we started a very intense game of Taboo. Now let me tell you, these people don't mess around with their Taboo, I found that out very quickly! I happened to get chosen to be a captain so my first round draft pick was my new friend Amanda, which turned out to be a very good decision on my part. Our team name was the Los Hermaphradodos (I don't even have an explanation for that) and we played against the Bromigos. Me and Amanda were on point with each other and even though our team lost the first we round, (my other draft picks didn't live up to the hype) we dominated and rallied to win round 2!

Once that game was over we made our way back home and to the comfort of our beds and drifted off to sleep, The next morning, once I was reasonably sure that the ice had melted off the roads, I packed my stuff and started my journey back home, but not before I stopped by my old office and saw all my old co-workers. It was so great to see everyone, especially Tiff aka T-Pain, who even though she isnt going, is equally excited about Britney! Finally I made my way back to Pine Mountain to see what was leftover from the random snow storm

So finally, my weekend update is over you all can sleep better, whew! Well im off to get ready for BRITNEY, update on that soon!!!

Weekend Update #1

Sooo let me first start out by saying Ive been sick the past couple days so I havent been able to write, but I have a whole lot to write about from this weekend so if this gets too long feel free to skip what you deem are the unimportant parts, afterall Im not one to spare any details. Actually I still am sick so I may decide to split this into two posts but just like me, you'll find out what I decide to do later on.

Anyway, as you remember, Friday I left work and started my pilgramage to my old stomping ground...Statesboro! I arrived at about 8:00 and instead of meeting Steph and Jenn and their/my old house I went to Steph's parents where she was having family dinner. This excited me very much because I got to see her mom, dad and sisters whom I adore! We chatted a while and her sisters showed me their prom dresses and for some reason Steph's old prom dress was also on display and comparing it to today's styles gave us a good laugh!
Once we left there, we went to the house to get ready for a big night out, and by that I mean going to Retreivers where I know no one we are the oldest people there...very cool! Anyway, Jenn got home about an hour later and also my old class buddy Matt showed up with a friend of his which was a wonderful surprise. The last few times I was down there we didn't get to hang out so it was really great seeing him. Eventually we made our way out and I met some of Jenn and Steph's new friends and also met an old co-worker of Steph's and we really hit it off...might lead somewhere....hmmmm :) We called it a night not too late cause Jenn had to be up at 6:30 and the best part was that we ordered no late night Hungry Howies!

Now let me ride off on a tangent real quick, I think the best part of the weekend (besides the obvious seeing Steph and Jenn) was the fact that everyone who saw me commented on how much weight I'd lost! I knew that I had been losing weight (thanks to Jillian) but I wasnt sure anyone could really tell, but seriously every single person noticed and it made me soooo happy to know that my hard work is paying off, so thanks to everyone, you boosted my spirits more than you know! So that was the reason for no late night Hungry Howies, I wasn't about to sacrafice all my hard work for a little midnight indulgence, definitely not worth it!

Ok back to the weekend, so saturday me and Steph rode down to savannah to get a retail therapy in (Jenn had to work) because the jeans I wore literally had to be rolled down to stay on me, plus I needed a dress for the BRITNEY CONCERT (update on that later)!

First we wandered into Urban Outfitters where I immediately found the perfect Britney dress in my favorite color pink, and also a shirt. Then we made our to The Gap where I could get some new jeans, I ended up getting two pairs (in a size 4 might I add, I nearly had a heart attack from being so excited). I also got a cute new swimsuit and I was pleasantly surprised when I looked in the mirror and actually liked the way I looked in it, again thanks Jillian! After we left there, we met up with my friend Heather Brancato and her pomeranian pup, Gossip, went to Starbucks (diet green tea for me) and headed back to Statesboro for dinner and another night out.

We settled on Japanese and decided to go to Shoguns, because who doesn't love dinner and show?! Once at the restuarant, I concluded for the 3rd time that I DO NOT like Saki. It tastes like warm beer mixed with even warmer tequila,,,not a winning combination. So I gave my portion to Jenn who took it like a champ! Also, I mixed things up and instead of getting hibachi and loading up on rice and chicken and buttery veggies and soup and salad, I settled on sushi which honestly I dont really like that much, but this particular roll was delicious, spicy tuna and shrimp, a much better combination!

After dinner we made our way back to the house where we had tons of friends stop by and finally at around 11:00 we made our way out in the rain and headed to Retrievers with umbrellas in tow. We all had a great time and eventually made our way back home in the rain, although by this point we weren't too concerned with our umbrellas ;) We stayed up a little longer and attempted to start up a game of Partini, once we realized that wasn't going to work we called it a night...well morning.

Well Ive written quite a lot and I still have much more to talk about so I figure Ill save it for another day as not to overwhelm/bore anyone! But before I go Ill give you an update on my shred progress...

So monday I started Level 2 and damn (yes it deserved a cuss word) was it tough! I miss Level 1! However I did not die and made it through, I was definitely much more exhausted when I got done, but not nearly like I was when I started Level 1 so I can definitely tell my enduance and strength is improving. Ya know I was starting to warm up to Jillian but after this she is back on My List. However she does what she promises and gets quick results. I am down 2 jean sizes and I have lost 3 more lbs, Im now weighing in at 122.4...7 more to go!! It kinda sucks though cause Ive been sick and haven't been able to work out since monday but I also havent had much of an appetite so I figure Im ok until I get back on my feet!

The last thing Ill leave you with is a little reminder that BRITNEY IS TOMORROW!!! Im so unbeleivably excited I dont know how Ill sleep tonight! (wow could I sound anymore like a 5 year old the night before their first trip to Disney World) Today I had 2 people call me and tell me they passed her tour buses and convoy while in Atlanta and it made it so much more real! So when I update the rest of my weekend you will definitely get the whole concert scoop, complete with pictures! AHHH!

So goodnight and Ill be back to update soon!

Day 7 down! I can't believe I made a whole week already! Only 3 more and hopefully I'll be all toned! Ive got 3 more days on level 1 then Im up to level 2. Im a little apprehensive but I figure I made it this far without dying I can handle a little more intensity!

Weight update: 125.8--down .8lbs woo hoo!

Also I may be starting to like Jillian a little bit...still scared but at least Im warming up to her...

However I am going to Statesboro this weekend to visit Jenn and Stephanie so Im going to do my best to stay on track. Late night Hungry Howies and El Sombrero are very tough to resist, wish me luck!

Shred Time!

Well February is almost over and it's getting close to springtime and that means warm weather and the all too dreaded (well for me anyway) swimsuit shopping experience....dun dun dun. Well like I've said many times on my little blog im trying to get healthier in body and mind. I've kind of been putting the healthy body part off until the other day when I went to get fitted for a bridesmaids dress for Cassie and Jason's wedding. I went after work so I skipped lunch and thought skinny thoughts all day, but my skinny thoughts were quickly dissolved after the dress shop worker wrapped her magic Add-5-inches-to-my-butt-and-take-5-inches-off-my-boobs measuring tape around my sucked-in body. Bascially my body was channeling the famous Cingular bars. Let me explain...

Boob: No Service--straight to voicemail
Waist: Rings a few times-pretty good reception

Butt: I CAN DEFINITELY HEAR YOU NOW!

Needless to say, it was pretty rough so right then and there I went to Target and picked up some weights and a workout DVD that I had been researching.

Now this is no ordinary workout DVD, this is a beast of a workout with a beast of a trainer. Some of you may know who this person is but since I don't watch the particular reality show that its from (I know, shocking) I had no idea just how intense SHE is, so let me go ahead and introduce you to my new trainer and workout regimen...

Yes, I have started the 30 Day Shred with Jillian Michaels
My first day on the program I went to my cousin Jessica's because I talked her into doing it with me so we could support each other. We got our workout clothes on, moved some furniture, got our weights and turned on the DVD.
Ok let me stop here and say that I got kinda cocky and opted for the 5 lb weights while Jessica used 3 lbs...Big mistake, you'll hear why eventually.
The workout is essentially intense circuit training with 3 minutes for strength, 2 minute cardio and 1 minutes abs, and this is repeated 3 times, so its 20 minutes plus a couple minute warmup and cool down...no breaks! Well the very first move is push-ups for one minute...push-ups??? Jillian, I haven't done a push-up since, umm I really dont even know the last time. Well after 1 minute straight of push-ups (yes girl style cause Im a newbie) I could barely pick up my 5 lb weights, more less do any workout moves with them. While Jessica on the other hand is handling it pretty well, stupid 3 pounders! But does Jillian care? Nope, she basically tells me (her "buddy" as she likes to call me) to suck it up or I wont see results. So I do my best to perservere, hating her the entire time, you are no buddy of mine Jillian.
Anyway, we actually made it through the workout, and didn't die, woo hoo! Now Ill go ahead and admit that I layed on the floor for about 5 minutes for fear of vomiting and once I did get up I couldnt even hold a glass of ice water and dammit i was really thirsty. It was by far the hardest workout I have ever done...ever. And it wouldnt ya know it, it got worse, the next 2 days (and no, I did NOT skip a day) I was so sore that it hurt to answer my cell phone.
But this story does get better because I am now on day 5 of the workout and Im no longer sore, I look forward to the workouts, I can do a few normal pushups, I can hold a glass of water AND I, thankfully, do not have the urge to vomit! My endurance has improved about 200% and the best news yet, I have already lost weight! My goal weight is 115...12 lbs to go! So I will keep you updated on my progress, and when my bridesmaid dress does come in I hope that same dress shop lady is working and I look forward to rubbing it in her and her measuring tape's face! (man I hope I dont fall off the wagon, cause I am talking a pretty big game)
Well I will leave you with a little reminder that you-(should)-know-what is coming up in 1 week and 4 days...

BRITNEY CONCERT! I will be in savannah this weekend buying myself a new outfit just for the occassion, and if Im really lucky, it will be a smaller size than usual!

Oh yea and remember, everything is gonna be alright (alright)

In the Middle

So it has been a while since Ive posted anything. Ive been kinda busy and kinda bummed out, but then I remembered that Im using this blog to get me back on track, so I simply can't nelgect it!
So anyway, Im a big believer in signs, whether it be hearing a bit of a stranger's conversation, or perhaps catching a glimpse of an article on the newspaper that gives you some insight to your life. I feel like they are God's way of reminding me of whats important and that He hasn't forgotten about me. Im also very passionate about music, whenever I hear a song I always try to figure out a way it relates to my life. Well Im driving home from work and like I said, Ive been a little bummed out, and this older song that I don't think Ive heard in years randomly came on the radio, and I had never really listened to the words, just always kinda sang along. Well for some reason (Im pretty sure God was telling me to listen up) I just listened intently, and I got to thinking Wow, this is how im feeling, this band is singing about me. But the best part was this song was exactly what I needed to hear. You see, this song was singing about my life, but it telling me that everything was gonna be alright (alright)! Once it was over, I thought, "thanks God, I really needed that"
Well a a few days went by and I had actually perked up, but then the same ole stuff started weighing on my mind, and then driving home from work again, instead of God just saying "hey Brooke, you should listen to this song" He said, ok actually He yelled "seriously, I know you are bummed but everything is gonna be alright (alright)!!" Low and behold that song came on again. Now it was the second time in less than a week that I had heard this song (which like I said before, I hadn't heard in years and never really listened to) I thought, Ok God, I hear ya loud and clear! You are gonna take care of me, and even if I stumble some more, I still know that everything is gonna be alright (alright). Great, thanks God!!
So anyway, thats just my little example of the signs that God sends down, Im just glad I was listening!
Oh and for those of you wondering what song Im talking about, and why I keep putting 'alright' in parenthesis, here ya go...
Hey, don't write yourself off yet
It's only in your head you feel left out
Or looked down on.
Just TRY your best, TRY everything you can.
And don't you worry what they tell themselves when you're away.
It just takes some time,
Little girl you're in the middle of the ride.
Everything, everything will be just fine,
Everything, everything will be alright, (alright).
Hey, you know they're all the same.
You know you're doing better on your own, so don't buy in.
Live right now.
Yeah just be yourself.
It doesn't matter if it's good enough for someone else.
It just takes some time,
Little girl you're in the middle of the ride.
Everything, everything will be just fine,
Everything, everything will be alright, (alright).
It just takes some time,
Little girl you're in the middle of the ride.
Everything, everything will be just fine, everything,
Everything will be alright, (alright).
Hey, don't write yourself off yet.
It's only in your head you feel left out
Or looked down on.
Just do your best (just do your best),
do everything you can (do everything you can).
And don't you worry what their bitter hearts (bitter hearts) are gonna say.
It just takes some time,
Little girl you're in the middle of the ride.
Everything, everything will be just fine,
Everything, everything will be alright, (alright).
It just takes some time,
Little girl you're in the middle of the ride.
Everything, everything will be just fine,
Everything, everything will be (alright).
So once again, Thanks God (and Jimmy Eat World)
Oh and Ill recap later on my S.A.D weekend :)

Bob Marley's Birthday

Well its time to recap on my wonderful (minus about 2 hours ago, but I'll get to that later) weekend. This is my second great weekend in a row, I guess Im living right afterall!

My work week went by super fast, which is always a plus, so friday was here before I knew it. Now yall will probably start seeing a pattern on what I do friday nights, its usually go out with my girlfriends and hopefully get to dance to a little Britney! I am a single girl and I try to live it up as much as possible before I eventually get married and start a family, so I do what Beyonce tells me and "put my hands up up!" Who am I to argue with a diva like her??? Anyway, Laura, my wonderful BFF and partner in crime met me at my house where we got ready and put on an impromtu fashion show for my parents. We decided to go with a rock and roll vibe for the night and I opted for my ed hardy jeans and black tshirt, Laura settled on some cute trouser jeans and my Rolling Stones shirt. My mom and dad approved our outfits, dad mainly because we were pretty well covered up!
We headed out to the Peach and quickly realized that it was a very important night at the Peach, and presumably all over the world...Bob Marley's birthday. Well now if I would have known this, Laura and I could have skipped our impromtu fashion show and went straight to the tie dyed t-shirts and dreads, which my dad would definitely approve. No worries though, most people there were pretty chill...if you know what I mean...so our fashion was warmly embraced. In turn, Laura and I embraced the chill atmosphere and kind of camped out by ourselves

Then we see a wonderful surpise from across the bar, our long lost friend Charlie!!

I met Charlie through my friends who went to CSU and he is such a sweet guy, however I hadnt seen him since my friend Ashley got married about a year ago so it was great to run into him. Well it was a no brainer that Laura and I combined with Charlie and his friends and simply had a great time celebrating the birth of a reggae legend

Then the night got even better because my other partner in crime, Jessica Lee, showed up with Summer and joined our little gang.

By this time we felt that we had sufficiently celebrated enough for Bob Marley, plus it was after midnight so technically it wasnt his birthday anymore, we were ready for some Britney. However, we werent prepared for how much people of LaGrange loved good ole Bob and kept up the celebration. Needless to say, we never got to hear Britney, but thats ok because I get to see her in person in less than 4 weeks!!! Ill go ahead and warn yall that I will probably mention this fact everytime I make a post, so don't fight the inevitable.

Finally, we decided to call it a night because Laura and I both had to be up super early so went home and fell asleep watching Knocked Up, no telling what I dreamed of after that.

So 8 a.m. Im up and at em getting ready for the Set the Table shower Jessica O'Neal and I were throwing for Cassie (remember, the one who is getting married) I used my morning to clean the rest of the house and finished preparing the food for the dare I say, incredible spread we had planned! Jessica and our guest of honor got there around 11 and we set up the food. Now I don't like to toot my own horn...but toot toot! The spread was truly incredible, and dang it, it tasted as good as it looked!

Props to Jessica for getting me to like pimento cheese and even chicken salad...I think it was the Craisins, which as we all know are Crazy Raisins, that put me over the edge!

Well the shower went off without a hitch and it was so great meeting Cassie's relatives and family friends. While opening presents, I was appointed the job of gift-giver and taker. Now normally this wouldnt be so stressful, but as you may remember this was a Set the Table shower, and you know what that means....lots of breakable china. I was in heels and a dress trying to bend down pick up gifts, throw away trash, close boxes and stack gifts, all the while trying not to flash anyone or break anything. Well the shower gods were looking down on me and I managed to make it through without so much as broken bow...although I can't say the same for Cassie ;)

Cassie wasn't the only one who got great gifts, Jessica and I got these beautiful pashminas as our hostess gifts which we both love, in fact I wore mine today!

Now I have to share this funny story with you all, one of the shower guests was this hilarious lady named Cindy, she is one of Cassie's mom's oldest friends, in fact there were bridesmsaids in each others wedding! Well Cindy, being the spunky person that she is decided to think outside the box and not conform to drinking coke zero provided...she needed some caffiene! So Cindy and I went on an adventure to find some regular coke, we headed to the garage and after a little bit of digging I found a full bodied Coca-Cola. In this short trip, Cindy and I bonded and started discussing what my degrees are in, which are Criminal Justice and Public Administration. Cindy then says "Well why don't you join the GBI?? You're little, young and you have great boobs!" Now I could be wrong, but I had no idea that was part of the criteria for joining the GBI, but I may just trust Cindy on that little detail and send in an application and maybe even a head shot. Wait, I take that back....a fully body shot! Thanks Cindy!!!

I was pretty tired from the shower and once everyone left I put on some PJ's...yes at 4:00, don't judge...and curled up on the couch to catch up on one of my favorite shows....

I love this show, however the only thing that upsets me is that fact that I can't rightfully judge the dishes that the chefs create. On say, Project Runway or Shear Genius (again, don't judge) at least I can pretend I have the ability to know if something is good or not, like "ugh I would never wear that" or "oooo I love that hair color". (This is why I love watching previews that the movies because for those few minutes I get to be a movie critic..."I give it two thumbs up!") But on Top Chef I can never know what the food tastes like so I can't decide if I like it or not, I just have to trust the judges and to be quite frank, I dont really trust anyone but Padma, she seems pretty genuine.
I ended up falling asleep during Top Chef and woke up around 6:30ish, I figured that watching TV on the couch was going to be the highlight of my saturday night so I embraced this and turned on one of my favorite movies.

Now no matter how many times I watch this movie I still hope that that darn ship isn't going to sink. This viewing was no different and I crossed my fingers when the iceberg appeared, but to no avail...the ship sank, Leo died and as Britney reminded us, "the old lady dropped it into the ocean at the end". However, no one has gone down to get it for me like they did for her.

Sunday (today) was a pretty good day too, Laura called me and invited me to lunch so I got ready and met her and Jessica Kinard at Cracker Barrell where we recapped the weekend enjoyed each others company.

Then I met Jessica O'Neal, her friend MaryAnne and a few of their friends from junior service league at the movies where we got to see my life play out on the silver screen...no Im not talking about Madea Goes to Jail!

Im talking about "He's Just Not That Into You". The movie was very cute, funny and pretty real. Most girls could definitely relate to the scenarios in it, some more than others...cough cough. It made me realize Im not the exception the he treats-me-like-crap-but-that-just-because-he-really-likes-me-and-eventually-he-will-change-and-we-will-live-happily-ever-after rule. But I'm not going to worry because my life story doesnt start with a boy, its already started, and meeting my future husband is just a chapter I havent gotten to yet.

Ok, so now Ive divulged the good parts of my weekend, here is where it goes sour. Some of you may know that I got a new car 2 weeks ago.

Well technically its not brand new and technically my dad bought it for me ;) Anyway I love love love my car and im still so excited to drive it every chance I get. Well my elated disposition about my car was quickly deflated tonight when a deer decided to play chicken with me and ran smack into the side of my car! ARE YOU KIDDING??? Well I was only about 30 seconds from my house so I waited till I got home to inspect the damage.

I'm doing my best to look at the glass half full so luckily I wasn't hurt and the only damage is cosmetic, there is a nice size dent in my front driver's side fender, plus my wonderful dad is pretty sure he can pop it out and buff it back to normal, but my heart still hurts a little.
Well now Im going to concentrate on my sunday night shows

and then get a good night's sleep so Ill be ready to go for another (hopefully short) workweek! Sweet Dreams!

Christmas in February!

So, today has been a very productive day for me. It is tax time at work and while some of my co-workers may groan, I on the other hand, decided to look through those elusive rose colored glasses and see tax time as a sort of holiday...Christmas to be exact. So now that is it Christmas time at work, everyone has to have a specific role. My boss of course is the brains of this whole operation so natually she would be ole Jolly St. Nick, and no she can't be Mrs. Claus because everyone knows she is more of a stay at home mom. So Santa got together the "List", this list included those business who were good this year and in turn will receicve a very special present...a W-9!! Well since Im low man on the totem pole, I got to be an elf, but I did take it upon myself to appoint myself Head Elf, this was because technically I was the only elf working on these particular "toys". Well I counted the List and there were 998 good businesses which were to get presents this year, so I got all my building materials together and began working diligently so this Christmas could be spectacular! It doesnt take very much brain power to put these little treasures together but what it does take a lot of is time, and I dont know if you have ever seen 2 stacks of 998 sheets of paper, but let me tell you, it is a pretty daunting vision, here Ill show you...

Well I got about 1/2 of the way through with the stack today so Ill have to finish up tomorrow...but thats ok cause that just means Christmas lasts 2 days this year! Now I know you are all dying to see the finished product so I will share with you my wonderful craftmanship...

When I got home today, naturally I was pretty worn out so I put on some comfy clothes (which is the first thing I do everyday when I get home) and got ready to veg out on the bed and catch up on my reality shows that I missed last night! But then I got a wonderful surprise, my dear old dad decided to take me to dinner! We went to San Marcos which made it even better because not only was I getting to be with my Dad but I got to eat cheese dip too, another love of mine! After dinner we made our way back home where I got back into my comfy clothes and made a date with my DVR.

The Real Housewives was the first show to tackle and while watching I started thinking...None of the women on the show are completely "Real" besides Gretchen, but then Gretchen technically isnt a "Housewife" so bravo to you, Bravo for scoring 0 out of 5 on getting 5 "Real Housewives" for your show. Even knowing this bit of information it doesnt deter me one bit from watching, and Gretchen is actually my favorite. She is both physically and emotionally "real" in my opinion, and she is pretty darn funny, so who am I to judge her on her choice of men. So rock it out Gretchen!

Well my reality show marathon didnt last very long because I remembered I had to send in my resume to a potential employer so naturally I got on here first so I could attempt to entertain all my faithful reader(s) and now I am going to be responsible and once again put off my DVR date so I can maybe get a cool job where I dont have pretend to be an elf just to get through the day! So good night to you guys and Merry Christmas!
